Mealtimes shouldn't be a battle.

From our first session, Jakarta took the time to understand my health, lifestyle, and goals rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach. What has impressed me most is her ability to make it all practical and achievable. I’m eating healthy now and actually enjoying it!

Common questions

Paediatric dietitian FAQ.

When should I take my child to a dietitian?

If mealtimes are a constant struggle, your child accepts a very small range of foods, or you are worried about their growth, a dietitian can help. If you are unsure, your GP or child health nurse can advise.

Can you help with fussy eating?

Yes. Fussy eating is one of the most common reasons parents see us. We look at what is behind it and build gentle, realistic steps.

Do you see babies and teenagers?

Our dietitians work with children of all ages, from infants through to teens. Call us on 1300 859 771 and we will match you with the right dietitian.

Can my child have appointments online?

Yes. Appointments are available by telehealth from anywhere in Australia, or in clinic across QLD and the NT.

Do I need a referral to book?

Not to book privately, you can call or fill in the form yourself. You do need a referral from your GP if you are using Medicare or DVA, and we can tell you what to ask for.
